Blogging
Well though this post may offend some of you, the whole point of blogging is to express opinion. At least, that is what we are told; so I'll do exactly what I am told. I believe blogging is pointless. I believe it has always been for people who have no lives and are too afraid to express their opinions in person. In addition, since I feel I have been denied to express my opinion through my own words in person, I guess I have to resort to blogging about, well, blogging. Then again, this world has been too wrapped up in hiding behind newspapers and magazines. For example, girls buying make-up and clothes because "the models" buy it, walking like "models" because, quote: "they do it too!", or, "all the cool kids are doing it!" unquote. [I can't say much about guys, because hey! I'm not one] However, I can say that cool hair, the "perfect body", cool clothes, cliques, etc...only exist because we LET them exist. All of these cliques, are just a bunch of kids running around saying "Look at me! Im popular!" what is so cool about that? From what I've seen in high schools, people who are in cliques don't even act like themselves around those people. So if being liked for someone they're not fancies them, then they can go right ahead. So screw the newspapers and magazines; screw the paparazzi and their made up stories. Maybe some of them are true, but I'm never going to be able to tell unless I get facts; because how do I know they are not just making up the facts? Hmm? So there, I've expressed my opinion. Happy now?

I have to agree with most of what you said. It does seem odd that you are encouraged to speak your mind in school yet you really can't. But i don't quite get what you mean when you say "Maybe some of them are true, but I'm never going to be able to tell unless I get facts; because how do I know they are not just making up the facts?" are you saying that newspapers encourage people to be in cliques? But i do agree that magazines and tabloids do encourage perfect images and friends. But aren't you contradicting yourself when you say that "people who are in cliques don't even act like themselves around those people" when you can't even be yourself in school?
I am happy that you are blogging.
:O BRITTA SAID A BIG WORD! you must be so proud of yourself
I am very proud of myself that I proved a major flaw in your argument while instead of trying to back it up, you choose to try to annoy me. Very classy.
Alex, I agree completely. Cliques and all this celebrity-based stuff is pointless. As for guys, I could share my view of it, if you like.
